This programme works with young people to help them to quit and significantly change their smoking behaviour. We work with groups of young people aged 16-21 in their own provisions.
Commit to Quit is run over a period of 6 to 8 weeks and the group is split into teams who compete to get the lowest score on the CO monitor. Each week the participants take part in a variety of activities which create a platform to lower their score.
Our results have proven to show a significant drop in smoking rates in the groups we have worked with.
