Our new project, “The Filter Europe” has officially kicked off. Yes, that’s right, The Filter is heading to Austria, Spain, Romania and Belarus!
We all stayed in a nice hotel called “Europahaus Wien” in Hütteldorf (which is part of the 14th district of Vienna).
Thursday morning started with icebreakers, so we could all get to know each other a little bit better, then came the introductions. For the first two days, it was our job to provide as much information about The Filter as possible, discussing how we work with young people. It was a lot of hard work, but each of our training sessions were filled with plenty of engaging tasks.
In the evenings, everyone had the chance to clear their heads from work and have some fun learning about the other countries. On Friday
and Sunday we’ve had intercultural nights, where every country is represented itself with traditional music, food, drinks and dances. Every country was presented in a funny and interesting way which resulted in everyone having a great time in these evenings.
Altogether, we produced a lot of work – as they say, teamwork makes the dream work! It was very useful for everyone. New friendships have been made and everyone is excited for The Filter Europes future.
Next stop, Romania.
